Ballou Senior High School Site Tour

As part of the ACE Mentor Program, on February 16, 2011, students from Ballou Senior High School took a site tour of the Coast Guard Headquarters project on St. Elizabeths West Campus. Led by Clark's Superintendent Josh Zeisloft, and Project Manager Dave Pastrick, the group reviewed on-going construction activities that included support of excavation, cast in place concrete, site utilities, mechanical / electrical / plumbing installation, and the building envelope.

The site tour will help the students have a better insight for their ACE Mentor final project. The project contemplates renovating the existing Ballou auditorium. Students have conducted an as-built of the existing structure on their school grounds to evaluate the extent of the renovations and new construction. The project will be presented to the ACE Mentor board in May 2011.
